Hiphop For Life Coalition, Inc., A My PEAples Foundation is an active not for profit Hiphop organization dedicated to social services in an array of areas. HH4L provides and/or assists in the following areas: homelessness support, neighborhood development, music education, socio-political awareness, spiritual development and community initiatives. These efforts along with the principles of Hiphop allow HH4L to touch and effect change and growth for any and everyone that seek it. HH4L utilizes the principles of M.E.A.T (Music-Education-Activity-Truth) as a guiding tool for their mission of growth and change in making a difference.
HH4L was founded in 2001 under the teachings and guidance of the Temple of Hiphop. Throughout the years, HH4L has assisted in an number of Hiphop Appreciation Week (HHAW) and Hiphop History Month celebrations including marketing, promotion, creative and technical support, homeless drives, literary campaigns, neighborhood clean-ups, social and political campaigns, etc.
Going forward, HH4L has founded Hiphop Action Week (HhAW) in 2011 to be celebrated worldwide the third week in February and the third week in August, as a way to continue in the development and appreciation of Hiphop. Hiphop Action Week (Feb/Aug) along with Hiphop Appreciation Week (May), and Hiphop History Month (Nov) will give Hiphop Culture a worldwide quarterly celebration every year going forward.
